Working in Mendham

Mendham is a Morris County borough with a real main street, a lot of preserved open space around it, and the Ralston area just west. It is roughly half an hour from my Neshanic Station studio and it suits family and wedding work particularly well.

Schiff Nature Preserve and the India Brook corridor give you woodland, water and open meadow in one place, which is unusual and very useful for family sessions with a range of ages. The borough centre is compact and walkable with older buildings and stone. West toward Ralston the character turns agricultural quickly, so you can move from village to open country in a few minutes without a long drive between setups.
