The Somerset Hills has a particular quality of light in the late afternoon — long, low, and generous. I have spent years learning where it falls: which stretches of countryside hold it longest, which historic streets take it best, and how it moves across a property through the seasons.
That knowledge is why sessions here rarely feel rushed. We are not hunting for a location on the day. We already know where to be, and when.

Do you travel to Bernardsville?
Yes. My studio is in Neshanic Station, a short drive from Bernardsville, and I photograph throughout Somerset and Hunterdon counties as a matter of course. Travel within this area is simply part of the work.
