Friday during the day the balloons were able to get up in the air, however, Friday night the winds were too high and a number of the specialty balloons were inflated for a short period of time.

The New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning is an exciting event that boasts a roster of world-class musical acts on its main stage. Over the years, festival-goers have been entertained by the likes of The Beach Boys, Jonas Brothers, and Demi Lovato, among others. In 2022, Collective Soul, Kansas, Todd Rundgren, and Laurie Berkner graced the festival's stage.
Looking ahead to 2023, the festival has an amazing lineup planned that includes Laurie Berkner for a live solo concert, followed by the opening act of Everclear and Lit on Friday. On Saturday, festival-goers will be treated to a headline performance by the legendary KC and The Sunshine Band in conjunction with the festival's famous balloon glow. Finally, Fitz and The Tantrums will close out the festival on Sunday.
In addition to the main stage performances, the festival also features an expanded and upgraded Cash Pop stage sponsored by the New Jersey Lottery. The stage boasts a fun lineup of tribute and cover bands that will keep attendees singing, dancing, and tapping their toes to all of their favorite songs throughout the festival. The lineup includes Dead Aire, Earth to Mars, The Dead Reckoning, Paradise Rose, Lez Zeppelin, Jimmy Kenny Band and The Pirate Beach Band, and Wooden Ships.
